fountain at daylight without melting from the heat, and afterwards see also the lights
Buy yourself a local ice cream and find a nice place on the stairs

 Purchase a combined ticket to both the Colosseum and the Forum
In order to avoid the long lines at the gates try to book the entrance online
You should definitely have lunch at one of the restaurants which overlook the Colosseum, and also offers a deal of lunch that includes a starter, main course, dessert and drink

For those of you who don`t mind to walk a little bit, you can go from the Forum to the impressive Piazza Venezia

Clear a day for touring the famous monuments such as the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and piazza de Spagna
During the day you can buy some souvenirs from the local shops on the way

Shoping

In the main street Via del Corco you will find all the fashion stores like Zara, Pandora, H&M and so on... girls, I recommend you to clear a whole day for it
