The dry season between December-April is the more touristic one, and therefor the prices are rising as well
Nice weather, no serious rainfalls.. but there could be a few showers sometimes
On the wet season, between May-November, the temperatures are still ok but there is a concern about hurricanes in the area

From Belize city you should take the ferry to the island

I recommend you to book your stay in advanced in Yuma`s house hostel, a nice place which is located right next to the ferry

 Belize is a hot destination for divers and snorkelers
For those who are interested you can ask about a diving or skydiving in the famous blue hole

The beautiful landscape of the colorful cabins combined with turquoise water is amazing, but I was disappointed with the beaches because there is no sand only asphalt

The Split beach in the end of the main street organizes sometimes parties and games
