The dry season, between November-April, has nice temperatures and warm weather.. ideal for travelers
There could still be a few showers because it`s a tropical area, but nothing major
This is the more touristic season, and therefor the prices are rising
The wet season, between May-October, is totally unexpected
You could enjoy a few days of sun and then out of nowhere there will be rainfalls which won`t stop
It`s hard to plan a trip that way.. so pa attention to the forecast all the time

Where should we stay
I highly recommend you to book your stay at Selina Hostel ! Young and fun atmosphere
Cool design and a straight entrance to the beautiful black sand beach

Attractions
You can book morning surfing lessons with the hostel

 Jaco offers you a variety of surfing stores, souvenirs shops and good restaurants

For the brave and hungry ones I recommend to try the Ridiculous Burger restaurant
Accept of an excellent menu, they arrange insane eating challenges
