Recommended season
The dry season, between November-April, has nice temperatures and warm weather.. ideal for travelers
There could still be a few showers because it`s a tropical area, but nothing major
This is the more touristic season, and therefor the prices are rising
The wet season, between May-October, is totally unexpected
You could enjoy a few days of sun and then out of nowhere there will be rainfalls which won`t stop
It`s hard to plan a trip that way.. so pa attention to the forecast all the time

How do we get there
You take a buss from San Jose to the station of La Fortuna

Where should we sleep
I reccomend you to book your stay at Arenal Backpackers Hostel, Young atmosphere, clean dorms and great location
The reception will help you book all of the attractions and the shuttles for the rest of Costa Rica
